The Benz Silent Rider UTV exhaust silencer fits most any UTV with a four stroke engine to quiet the stock exhaust noise by 60%, without sacrificing any engine loss of power or performance. The UTV exhaust silencer is made of 14-gauge aluminized steel that helps prevent corrosion and is easy to install. These UTV exhaust silencers come with a U.S. Forestry approved spark arrestor that helps provide you with a safer ride. The Benz Silent Rider comes with sound deadening mufflers that reduce exhaust noise by up to 60%. You can turn that sharp pop to a smooth purr with the Benz Silent Rider UTV exhaust silencer.
The Benz Silent Rider UTV exhaust silencer is ideal for hunters, street travel, trail riders, dune riders, the military, law enforcement, etc.
The models below marked with a (*) will use the adapter provided in the kit at no extra charge. These adapters will require welding to the factory muffler. This will create an attachment point for the UTV exhaust silencer to pressure fit on and off. Only the adapter is permanent, the Benz Silent Rider is not a permanent device, you can choose to leave it on or take it off by 2 bolt hangers.
Some models do not need an adapter, being the factory muffler has enough flange to attach to. The models listed below have an optional bolt on adapter that will use the same bolt pattern, so no new holes will be needed.
All of the UTV exhaust silencers are custom designed to fit the individual unit, with heat shield & turndown pipe. They mount very sturdy without any rattling or loose components.

NOTE: There are a few models of the Benz Silent Rider that could perform better at higher elevations, if vented. If you are planing to use the Benz Silent Rider at elevations above 6,000 feet, you may want us to vent it for you, NO CHARGE! INSTALLATION OF THE BENZ SILENT RIDER UTV EXHAUST SILENCER
|

Never is the Benz Silent Rider UTV exhaust silencer a permanent mount. Only the adapter that requires welding is permanent. Adapters are used for an attachment point. All UTV exhaust silencers will pressure/friction fit onto the stock muffler flange or the adapter. This unique design does not need clamping, making it a very easy installation and removable if needed. All UTV exhaust silencers are designed with a heat shield, turndown pipe and mounting brackets for a secure mount. There is no assembly necessary!

NO ADAPTER NEEDED
This means that your UTV has enough tail pipe or flange on the stock muffler for the silencer to get a tight seal without any welding needed. There is support brackets on the silencer that will mount to your back rack bars or frame with clamps provided, which will secure a solid mount.

WELD-ON ADAPTER
This means that your UTV muffler does not have anything for the silencer to attach to. We have created a small piece of tubing that we recommend wire welding to the end of your stock muffler. Remember only the adapter is permanent, not the silencer. This will create the perfect size tubing for the silencer to pressure fit on to. There is support brackets on the silencer that will mount to your back rack bars or frame with clamps provided, which will secure a solid mount.
OPTIONAL BOLT-ON ADAPTER
This is only available for the Yamaha Rhino 450 and 660. This is an extra charge of $22.
You can choose the “weld on adapter” at no charge, but you do have this option being your stock muffler has 3 existing bolts in the spark arrestor. The bolt on adapter makes it easier to mount because it lines up perfectly with the existing bolt holes. There is no need to drill new or extra holes! Once the adapter is in place, the silencer will pressure fit to it. There is support brackets on the silencer that will mount to your back rack bars or frame with clamps provided, which will secure a solid mount.

How quiet is the Benz Silent Rider?
It quiets most 4-stroke UTV’s up to 60%
Do you lose power or performance?
The exhaust silencer is designed to where it only adds 2% back pressure. We have it as quiet as possible without losing any power. In some cases, it has shown to increase bottom end power.
Will it hurt my engine?
No, the exhaust silencer has been used for over 7 years on ATV’s and UTV’s without any damage to the engine. It is designed only for 4-stoke ATV’s and UTV’s.
Do I need to weld on my UTV?
On some models, where there is not enough flange or tail pipe to attach to, it will be necessary to wire or mig weld the adapter to the end of the stock muffler. Only the adapter is permanent. The exhaust silencer will pressure fit onto the adapter.
Can I install this myself?
Yes. Our exhaust silencer will mount directly to the stock muffler. If your model does not use an adapter, it can be installed in less than 10 minutes. If your model takes the weld-on adapter, or the optional bolt-on application, it will take a few additional minutes to install. Then it bolts directly to your back rack bars or frame.
I have a bed on my UTV, will it still dump?
Yes. The exhaust silencer will not interfere with the dump bed.

How is the Benz Silent Rider designed?
The Benz Silent Rider is manufactured here in the United States. It is made of 14 gauge aluminized steel. During production the brackets and heat shield are positioned and welded in place. This makes a more compact looking unit. The Benz Silent Rider is baffled with fiberglass packing, providing the ultimate silencing. If the exhaust silencer uses an adapter, they are each pre-fitted to insure of a tight fit, so no clamping will be necessary at the exhaust. The Benz Silent Rider carries a patent for an Auxiliary Silencer for All Terrain Vehicles.
How long has the Benz Silent Rider been in use?
We have been testing the silencer for over 7 years. We are pleased to say that our silencers are being used by law enforcement, military, hunters, game wardens and many others for over 4 years.
